This aircraft was previously owned by the U.S. Department of the Interior for many years. During that time, the logbooks were meticulously maintained, with detailed documentation for all work performed. Every maintenance task was accompanied by work orders and signed off by an FAA-certified repair station.
In 1991, N9786P underwent a complete rebuild by CubCrafters and was signed off by company founder Jim Richmond.
