N5177P is an all metal 4-person aircraft with a laminar flow wing, retractable gear and constant speed prop. Every individual aircraft part has been zinc-chromated prior to factory assembly for corrosion protection.
The stabilator tail is a fully movable aircraft horizontal stabilizer that allows the pilot to generate a given pitching moment with a lower control force.
The Piper Comanche was made for comfortable cross country flying with an extra wide cockpit which provides a more comfortable interior than the newer Piper airplanes.

The Lycoming Engine, O-360-A1A, a four-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled, horizontally-opposed aircraft engine is widely regarded as one of the most reliable piston-aircraft engines available in the aviation industry.
