- Placed my VL3 on order December 2022 and put down 50% for 1-year build. With shipping, certification paperwork and final assemble/testing I took my first flight on July 18th 2024. So if you are thinking about ordering one for yourself it could be a solid 2 years plus from time of deposit. This one is ready for immediate delivery.
- Take a good look at the Avionics I put is this plane. It is truly a glass panel, most pilots only get to dream about.
- Add in the 141 hp turbo charge Rotax 915is and you have power & performance off the charts. Cruises at 185ktas @ 10k ft while burning 8.5 gph.
- Last December I purchased a like new NX Cub for back country flying and over the past 8 month I have really gotten addicted to STOL flying. Hate to do it but I just don't have the time to fly them both so this beautiful and fast plane location at a grass strip (1TE4) just east of San Antonio needs to find a new home.
