Marcus T. Wilson Mr. Wilson, 75, is a private investor and has in the past years been a Business & Investment Banking Consultant engaged in activities across the Southeastern and Southwestern US. Prior to 1996 Marcus was Vice President within the Semiconductor Products Group (SPG) and General Manager of Group Strategy at Intel Corporation. Mr. Wilson was responsible for the overall Group strategy and synergy of Marketing Programs for all Divisions of SPG (Embedded Microcontroller Division, Embedded Processor Division, Memory Components Division, and Military and Special Products Division). Before becoming the Group Marketing Manager in August of 1994, Mr. Wilson served as the VP & General Manager of the Embedded Microcontroller Division (EMD), which he grew from $450M to $1B. There Mr. Wilson was responsible for embedded control products including the 8 and 16-bit microcontrollers and the 186 and Intel 386tm embedded microprocessors. Prior to becoming General Manager of EMD in 1991, Mr. Wilson served as General Manager of the Automotive Division, which developed, manufactured and sold microcontrollers to the automotive industry. Prior to his position in the Automotive Division, Mr. Wilson was the Director of Corporate Strategic Accounts, where he developed a world wide sales strategy and coordination of Intel's top 20 customers. In his first eight years with Intel, Mr. Wilson held several positions in field sales including Southern Region Sales Manager, District Sales Manager and Field Sales Engineer. In those positions he drove the design in and sales of Intel Microprocessors into the IBM PC. Before joining Intel in 1978, Mr. Wilson served as a Field Sales Engineer for the Texas Instruments Semiconductor Division. Born in 1949, Mr. Wilson earned his M.S. in Management in 1978 from Rollins College in Orlando, Florida and his B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology in 1973 from Mississippi State University. Mr. Wilson has served on the Phoenix Zoo Board of Directors and as an advisor on the Education and Strategic Planning Committees. He also has served as a member of the Advisory Council for Engineering at the University of Texas - Pan American and served on the Board of Andigilog Corporation in Phoenix. Mr. Wilson is a private pilot currently completing his Lancair IV-P Kit Aircraft.
