Frequently Asked Questions

My listing’s PlanePrice® is way too low or high. What’s the deal?

Your listing’s PlanePrice® is directly impacted by the amount of factual data provided. If you feel that your PlanePrice estimate is very low, try adding more facts about as many features as possible (avionics, STOL kits, engine and propeller). Over time, this can help improve the PlanePrice estimate. If you find your listing’s PlanePrice is very high, be sure to double check that you're listing it as the correct Make and Model of airplane and that the listing descriptions are as accurate as possible.
If it continues to report quite high, it may be a signal that your asking price is more than fair and lead to a faster-than-average sale.

How often is PlanePrice® updated for listings?

We update the PlanePrice® multiple times daily.

Does the PlanePrice® estimate algorithm ever change?

Yes! Aircraft For Sale's team of data scientists, engineers, and market professionals are committed to optimizing and continually improving the PlanePrice® model for increased efficiency.
