Highlights

Upgrading from a Cessna 150, we were looking for something that was a little faster, had a longer range, and could comfortably seat four adults with full fuel and luggage. We also wanted a solid IFR platform with a GPS and autopilot. It was also important for the aircraft to still be reasonably economical to maintain and fly. This wish list led us to the Piper Cherokee 180. We quickly discovered, however, that finding a Cherokee 180 with an IFR GPS and autopilot was less common than we had thought. But after months of searching, N7581W came on the market. We bought the plane and have since flown her nearly 250 hours over California, Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York.

We’re ready to move into a complex aircraft that can give us a little more speed, so N7581W is ready to find her new caretakers. With an engine that has plenty of time left, a fresh annual, and two full tanks of fuel (yes, I’ll fill her up before she leaves), she’s ready to facilitate a whole new chapter of memories. Based at KXNX but currently in annual at 2M2.
