This is an absolutely GORGEOUS low time 1977 Cardinal II 177B in great condition, equipped with many upgrades.
There are many solid reasons why this is a rare and desirable plane to own. This plane has over $80,000 in upgrades.
Other upgrades include LED landing & taxi lights, tail & nav beacons, new main & ELT batteries, voltage regulator and starter, etc.
Laminar airflow wings have no struts & are set back which provide the best visibility for pilot & passengers. The Cardinal is often deployed for airborne surveillance & photography because of these highly desirable features.
Equipped with extended range tanks having 66 gallon capacity. I flew from the Eastern U.S. to the extreme NW of the country against headwinds the whole way with just 3 refueling stops.
It’s hard to find all these in a single plane unless you buy a very expensive, newer plane. Owners love Cardinals. The Cessna 177B has the most cabin space, is easy to get in and out, has the best visibility. Very easy to fly, you can control it with fingertips. Very predictable and stable. A great IFR platform. Very reliable, annuals are inexpensive, a safe plane with low insurance rates. The plane can climb up to 14,600. Extended range 61 gallon fuel tanks to go over 800 miles. At economy settings it only burns 7 to 8 gallons per hour. Take off and land on a short runway. Upgraded propeller. This is a very nice low time, newer model fully upgraded Cardinal.
Very low time constant speed variable pitch prop.
Speed mods include a full set of matching fairings and exhaust fairing to further reduce drag.
This plane is a great performer and is able to land and take-off in very short distances. It cruises quite nicely at 10,000.
Another well known great thing about the Cardinal are the very large doors and easy access to rear seats.
This plane is equipped with retractable push/pull handles on fuselage; very handy feature.
For more info, please refer to the very informative YouTube videos featuring this exact plane, which was produced by the company * from whom I purchased the plane back in 2022 before flying it across the Rockies and Cascade mountain ranges from the Eastern U.S. to the Pacific Northwest with no issues whatsoever.
Search Google for N19093 AeroLife to see a very nice overview video conducted by the fine folks at AeroLife Aviation.
Side note: this beautiful bird was exactly as advertised (better!) and flew like a dream, serving me very well in my business.
Reason for selling: I don\'t want to part with this awesome aircraft, but I just sold my security consulting company so I\'m switching back to my Alaska roots and changing my mission objectives to bush flying as I no longer need a long-distance luxurious cruiser for business. Otherwise, I\'d keep this fantastic plane for many more years.
The later model Cardinal II package with all factory upgrades make it an even better and faster plane. When brand new, the later models were almost twice as expensive compared to the earlier models. And for good reason: after many years of constant improvements, this 1977 latest model has it all.
