The original Instrument panel was still very nice with a little discoloring showing in 2 areas - no hard use or wear showing in any way. For the purpose of having all to be equal with this special condition airplane a proffesional panel service was accomplished to new appearance once again.
The removal of the panel, complete stripping, preperation and resurface with the finest present day coating (Anthrecite) the new lettering to origional format and configuration (accomplished by Air Capito; Dial of Witchita, Kansas). This was all intergrated togeather with new Avionics Face Plates, New Lens, underlying filliment lightng, knobs and other numerous detail. The interior was duplicated per the Factory Blue Print drawing that had been designed for the next next new Super Viking that was going to be produced. Other refinements in the last models included specific chrome and polished hardware areas and other fine details, all of these were intergrated into N266BN with the recent upgrade.
