The transcontinental range 900XP, the seventh generation Hawker business jet, is a stand-out in the mid-size category. Its reliability, cabin accommodation, and performance over a variety of flight profiles is blended with a payload hard to match in other medium-size jets. The addition of the new Honeywell TFE-731-50R engines increases climb and range performance over the previous model (Hawker 850XP), and reduces total direct operating costs.
The 900XP has great short field performance with average landing distances at about 2,300 feet; the airplane normally cruises at 447 knots. Fuel burn averages 220 gals per hour and the 900XP will climb directly to its Maximum Operating Altitude of 41,000 feet.
The cabin, with a total volume of 604 cu ft is 6 feet wide, and highlighted by a 5’9” high center aisle, large, supple chairs, generous sized working tables, a roomy forward galley with cold storage and microwave, and a private aft lavatory.
